Dead Island HAS been released, The first person shooter video game that will allow you to play with as many as a four player co-op mode in what is known as a sandbox environment. This is also considered to be a heavy interactive environment where the main focuses of the game are put upon creating a weapon tree that's customizable, melee combat and customization and combat with your vehicles. You gain experience with the game as part of a skill tree system. Plus there is a stamina bar as one of the games features which basically means that you can only do a certain amount of things with your weapon before you are forced to stop as a way to build up your stamina again before you can go on to crush the enemy. And if you didn't already know, your main enemy are zombies, and there will be a very particular special form of zombie in this game that is going to be much tougher than the average ones that you fight regularly.
Some of the cool things you'll do in Dead Island are there are a lot of dark areas in this game and you will not be able to see unless you have your flashlight on and in use during those particular parts of the game. This helps bring a lot of suspense to the game and keeps it fresh and exciting. There unfortunately aren't any changes in the season or changes of night and day but there is one really cool feature that allows the weather to change so you can expect some stormy weather at certain points throughout your adventures on Dead Island. And this game will not have any zombie children within it in case you were wondering about that particular part of the game.
So the game will take place in a resort type of setting called Palms resort. And it is located in a place that is actually fictional and the name of that place is called Banoi. And this fictional land is located supposedly off the coast of the land of Papua New Guinea.
So the way this game starts is your character is going to wake up after a long night of partying only to learn that there was a insane outbreak of zombies and most of the people that live on this island have been killed by them.
The first thing you'll do in this game is play a mission but it is actually really a tutorial. You'll wake up with a lifeguard standing up above you and he gives you a helping hand to get up and then points you in the right direction of a group of other terrified survivors who are located in a beach hut.

Once you get into the Dead Island beach hut you'll be asked by one of the other survivors to go lend a helping hand to the lifeguard who is working on fending off a dangerous group of zombies. You will help him out and your character will automatically pick up a paddle for a dinghy and then walk outside to help the lifeguard. In the background of the game you'll hear a voice come over the loudspeakers telling you that the area isn't safe anymore and it's time to skedaddle.
